Colleges and universities are asked by many groups, including the federal government, accrediting associations, college guides, and other organizations to describe the ethnic/racial backgrounds of their students and employees. Hawkeye only provides this information to describe students or employees as a group, not individuals. In order to respond to these requests, we ask you to answer the following two questions.

If you would like to receive a hard copy of the Annual Security and Fire 安全 Report which contains this information, you can stop by the Public 安全 office located in Hawkeye Center 216 or you can request that a copy be mailed to you by calling 319-296-4234.
The report(s) contain information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as: crime prevention, 消防安全, university police law enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, policies related to and programs to prevent sexual assault and other crimes, disciplinary procedures and other matters of importance related to security and safety on campus. They also contain information about crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Hawkeye 社区 College; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.
